The Weekly Loop
The one-page system I run every business owner's account on. Six steps, same days every week, about 2.5 hours of your time. Follow it for four weeks before you change anything.
Want the long version? The Content OS adds the hook rule, 10 starter hooks, a 4-week tracker and a first-week checklist. Get The Content OS by email →
The six steps
- 1
Plan
MonLook at last week's three numbers. Pick 5–7 hooks for this week. Each hook gets a keyword and a pre-written DM reply.
Done when · A list of 5–7 hooks exists.
- 2
Shoot
TueOne session. Phone is fine. Film only the hooks on the list. One take each.
Done when · Raw clips are in one folder.
- 3
Edit
Tue–WedCut each clip to 30–60 seconds. Hook text on screen from the first frame. Captions on. No music yet.
Done when · Finished cuts sit in an “edits” folder.
- 4
Approve
ThuTwenty minutes. Watch each cut once. Post it or delete it. Nothing waits.
Done when · The edits folder is empty.
- 5
Schedule
ThuPost natively, add audio in the app. Caption: hook + one sentence + “Comment [KEYWORD]”. Keyword reply armed before it goes live.
Done when · The week is scheduled.
- 6
Report
MonThree numbers: posts published, viewers in your area, leads captured. Nothing else.
Done when · Three numbers written down.
The three numbers
- Posts published
- Viewers in your city or country
- Leads (DMs or emails captured)
Views and followers go up and down for reasons you can't control. These three only move when you do the work.
The five rules
Every post has an ask, and it's always “Comment [KEYWORD]”, never “DM me.”
Proof before promise: your first ten posts show a result you already got.
70/20/10: most posts repeat what worked, some improve it, a few try something new.
Fifth-grade words.
The 7-day rule: anything unposted after a week gets posted or deleted.
What to post first (week 1)
Three posts, same week.
- One result you got, with the number.
- One thing most people in your field get wrong.
- One honest post about where you are right now.
All three end with your keyword.
